The Apostles Who Preached In Africa, See The Apostle who preached and was killed in West Africa..

                                                                                                 Regardless of the untold history about the early advent of Christianity in Africa,by 100 A.D, there were many thriving Christian communities in Africa than most part of Christianised cities in the world. Your pastor failed to tell you this. You are made to believe Christianity came to Africa by our noble Europeans. Before 100A.D Christianity had by far flourished in North and West Africa before the Arab conquest in Africa.

In fact history have it that, virtually all the Apostles preached in Africa from Egypt to Libya to Mauritania just to mention but a few. In the book of Act 2:5-10 it states there were Jews and convert from Egypt and Libya who had come to worship. So it was a must to get the message preached in Africa during the Common Era (C.E).

Below is the breakdown of the Apostles and the cities they preached in Africa.

St. Mark: Mark was a gospel writer. In A.D 49, after the ascension of YESHUA the Kristo, Mark travelled to Alexandria and founded THE CHURCH OF ALEXANDRIA in Egypt. He then went to Libya and preached the gospel.

Alexandria is now called Coptic Church and is managed by the Roman Catholic Church.

St. Matthew: The tax collector and a gospel writer ministered in Ethiopia. He was stabbed to death in the city of Nadabah in A.D 60.

St. Philip: Philip who had earlier on converted the Ethiopian Eunuch in Act 8:26-40 preached the gospel in Carthage modern day Tunisia.

St. Bartholomew: Bartholomew had a wide spread missionary with travels with Thomas. He preached the gospel in Ethiopia and Southern Arabia.

St. Simon: Simon Surnamed Zelotes preached the gospel in Mauritania, West Africa in which he was afterword martyred becausehe had preached against their pagan worship.

The early paintings of the Apostles were all black in Europe.
